In this recent podcast, Fr. Nathan leads us through the story of the raising of Lazarus from the dead.
As you listen to the podcast, we encourage you to hit pause at key moments in the story and do a few Holy Week reflections of your own…
Do you believe that the God that is out there is also in you?
Take a moment now to speak from the heart to God who abides in your heart…
Do you believe in your beloved’s love for you?
What do you believe about Jesus? If asked, what would you say?
Mary says “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” Is there a part of your life that you feel Jesus has abandoned? Your job? Your family? If Jesus had been more present, do you feel like some painful event may have been avoided?
Finish this sentence: “Lord, if you had been here…….”
Jesus invited the first apostles to “Come and see“. If you have known Jesus awhile, what has Jesus shown you thus far? What have you been invited into?
What of your own heartbreak would you like Jesus to “Come and see“?
Is there any part of your life that is entombed? Is there a stone blocking your hopes and dreams? Is your heart entombed? Is there a part of your life that has been dead awhile?
Do you believe that God always hears you?
What binds your hands and feet? If the Lord were to order you unbound this Easter, what would you life look like?
The reading is from John 11: 1-45, and is available here.
